I'm thinking about taking my 13 year old to see Kinky Boots this week, I'm sure there's nothing totally risque in the show, but I was wondering if there was anything that might be uncomfortable to see with her by me, or anything to worry about. Thanks so much.

Definitely appropriate. It's a great show for that age (and any age beyond that!).

I took my 13-year-old last year. She loved it so much that we're taking her several of her friends to see the tour in Pittsburgh next month. I didn't feel uncomfortable with anything, and I think the "be your true self no matter what anyone thinks" is a GREAT message for kids of this age.

I think fine for any age but I agree, 13 is perfect.
