some of you people are just really harsh and unnecessary. if someone has a question whether it be stupid or not, we should all give them the opportunity to ask. there is no need to be so mean all the time.
Amen to that, Evadiva! Thank you *claps*
I have never heard that Idina & Kristin don't get along. I am a die-hard fan of WICKED/Idina/Kristin and pride myself in having read/seen just about everything I can regarding them/the show. Am I missing something or chosing to forget something that I read which may have put a damper on my love of the show and those two lovely ladies? If I am missing something, PLEASE include links and OFFICIAL info, no "heresay/rumors" please.
This was common knowledge shortly after the show arrived on Broadway -- that Idina and Kristin did not get along. I guess it came over from San Francisco, etc.
In retrospect, if you watch their TV interviews and appearances, there definitely is a certain thickness in the air between them. This is quite evident if you watch their Theatre Talk interview with Mike Reidel.
It's not a rarity in any business for friction to exist among cast members/employees, etc.
This might be lame proof, but I saw the last OBC (Kristin, Idina, and Norbert), and Kristin cries at For Good and Idina comforts her. Also in "One Short Day" Idina says to Kristin "I'm gonna miss you" and Kristin proceeds to cry. Let me know what you think... here's the link to some of those songs....

They are actresses -- I'm sure Kristin was using some personal reference to make herself cry...it had NOTHING to do with using Idina as her source for those tears.
Debra Winger and Richard Gere HATED each other during the filming of AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN and their chemistry is electrifying. Actors channel their energy into the character's feelings NOT theirs. Also, Debra Winger and Shirley MacLaine HATED each other during the filming of TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, and again...their chemistry was magical.
Yes...Debra Winger is difficult to work with, but is the consummate professional and brings out the best in other actors.
Same applies to both Idina and Kristin. Regardless of what their personal feelings are towards each other, that didn't exist on stage as G(a)linda and Elphaba.
*blinks* Well now... You learn something new everyday...
