Kaitlyn Hopkins in Bat Boy

Does any one besides me think Kaitlyn Hopkins is fantastic in Bat Boy? I think she gave the best performance I've ever seen on or off-broadway. What else has she done?

She IS phenominal! She was also in BARE, and was remarkable.

She's currently on tour in Disney's On The Record (she replaced Emily Skinner).

I haven't heard her yet, but I'm getting Bat Boy in the mail in a few days, so I'm excited

I saw that when I was posting and got so excited! It really is priceless. Not ever episode is brilliant, but for the most part it's amazing. One of my favorite parts is when the director cuts the role of Walter Lee, cast the entire show with white people, and made the black students trees. I laughed SO HARD!

My favorite moment is when she stumbles through reading "cat" like Helen Keller in the Miracle Worker

I agree. This woman is one of the best actress/singers out there.

I unapologetically know too much about her:

She is soon starring in A Touch of Poet on B'way with Liam Neeson.

She was amazing in Bare.

I saw her in Beautiful Child, this weird play at the vinyard.

She replaced Faith Prince in Noises Off.

Well, when But I'm a Cheerleader gets off the ground, everyone's going to know Kaitlin. She has been portraying the villain, Mary, in recent readings and whatnot of the show and she is, in a word, phenomenal. Great acting, great singing, impeccable comic timing. She may be known to theatre buffs now but she's going to be a star.

She reminded me so much of Joanna Gleason when I saw her in Bat Boy. I think she's wonderful. She also replaced Faith Prince in Noises Off for a little while before it closed. Updated On: 2/18/05 at 11:33 AM
