Sorry if this information is somewhere already but i searched everywhere and for some reason the WSS website isnt working for me.
But my question is, is Karen still in the cast? For how much longer? And how has her attendance been as of late?
Thanks

Posted: 12/13/09 at 6:09pmYeah.. she's still there. The only lead that's leaving is Tony (Matt C.) whose last performance is tonight.

Yes she is still in the show. She must have renewed because her contract would have been up the same time Matt C and everyone else was.

Posted: 12/13/09 at 6:14pmI haven't seen the show in some time but I think she has only been out for vacation time she took a few weeks back.

The show doesn't have multiple casts. It does, however employ the use of an alternate for the role of Tony. Why, I don't know, but that is what they decided to do.
And, Olivo was on vacation a couple of weeks ago which got some people's panties in a twist due to the fact that because she was on vacation, she couldn't appear in the taping of West Side Story's spot for the CBS broadcast of the parade. Thus, having her understudy, the talented, Natalie Cortez go on in her place.

I usually don't do this, but...
"would HAVE", not "would of"....of is not a verb, nor in any way what should be said/written there.

Posted: 12/13/09 at 6:22pmDidn't Authur "make" Matt C. leave? If that isn't tre, you can just stop me where I am. :)

Posted: 12/13/09 at 6:31pmI think the story as reported by the theatrical anti-Christ, Mike Ridel from the post said that once Matt came back from getting married, Arthur stopped fawning over him and therefor, though that it was best for him to go.

I've heard a similar story from friends in the show. Basically, Laurents was kind of over Cavenaugh and made the decision to not renew his contract.
I'm looking forward to seeing Matthew in the role. I'm basically just excited to see someone ELSE in the role.
