Kate Reinders for Elle Woods?

There has been on and off talk of the musical adaptation of "Legally Blonde" directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell. I think news about this show is going to start circulating soon since this show is next on Mitchell's list. A lot of people talked about Chenoweth being a possible Elle...but I doubt it will happen. She's not the right age anymore, plus she's probably going to be in the next Mel Brooks musical. I was thinking about it and, since we all know "Good Vibrations" is not going to last very long, this show would be the perfect vechicle for Kate Reinders. She's perfect for the part and her voice is such an Elle voice. I hope she's in the running for this part. This would be her star-making role.

I think she'd be great. She was the best part of "Good Vibrations" and hopefully she'lll get a Tony nod this year to gear up for "Legally Blonde".

I could definitly see Kerry Butler or Cheno as Elle. Those two would do so well in that character.

If they are careful in picking the cast then I could really see this musical work well. I still have a few trepaditions about it, but I'm starting to like the idea more and more.

Though I doubt anyone from Vibrations will get a Tony nod, I think Kate would be a brilliant choice as Elle.:) I love Cheno as much as anyone, but I'm sure it would become Glinda/Sally Brown as Elle Woods, whereas Kate could do some interesting stuff with it.:)

Jessica Snow- Wilson... maybe? but not as good a choice as Kate Reinders- she is PERFECT
Kerry... I cannot see her doing well in this part, for some reason

No, I can't see Kerry either. She's just not right for the role. Neither is Jessica Snow Wilson. I honestly thing Reinders is the best choice for the role. I really hope she goes out for it.

And let's not forget...Mitchell choreographed "Gypsy," which Kate was in...and he's directing "Legally Blonde." So, I'd say he must AT LEAST have her in mind.

Actually...I think that opera has been put off. Still...she's rumored to be in Mel Brooks' new musical adaptation of "Young Frankenstein."...I know Kate is perfect for this. Mitchell HAS to be considering her.

I have never seen Megan Hilty, but I cannot imagine anyone being more perfect than Kate Reinders for this role!
