For anyone curious, Gaelen will be doing the first four shows and Tracy Jai will be doing the last four (both shows on Saturday and Sunday) - Cna't wait to see both of them, especially Tracy Jai! As much as Kate blows the roof off with her vocals, I know Tracy Jai has an amazing voice!

I want to see both so badly! I've loved Gaelen forever and Tracy Jai even longer. They'll both be great, I'm sure.

Oooh, I must see Gaelen! Don't know when though -- next week is a big week, what with the new Potter movie and all. :)

Gaelen...that name sounds familiar. Is she from Wicked?

Heehee! Not the only one, not by a long shot. Between the midnight show on the 10th, and a concert the very next night, I am going to be useless at work... unless the coffee is REALLY effective! :)

Gaelen did understudy Morrible. She's cool ~ she did the "Behind the Emerald Curtain" with Anthony Galde. I just wish her shows were on the weekend. Since I'm teaching summer school, a weekday rush is impossible.

Maybe the original poster doesn't realize that "vaca" means "cow". RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Haha, I guess they didn't feel like typing out "vacation."

No I didn't know that and yes I didn't feel like typing out the whole word. I thought I would just say "vaca" cuzz that is how one of the sister's said vacation in the LB movie

So basically, Kate Shindle is sitting on a cow from LEGALLY BLONDE.
Vacay woulda been a little better, but I like it anyway.

So Kate is leaving to do another gig.
That makes more sense since Equity doesn't allow vacations in the first six months of the run.
So actually no "vaca" at all.

I doubt she's leaving. Wouldn't it have been announced?
Haha, BwayBaby18, I'm seeing the show Saturday, is that line in the show (Harvard? Omigod like on Vacay? Road trip!)?

No, but since Kate is out i thought it was appropriate... Um they cut the greatest line from the movie... Paul Canon should say "Omigod the bend and snap works everytime." but in the show he just says "works everytime" and you can barely hear it....COMPLETE INJUSTICE.... but i move on.
