Nicely written article. I got a bit teary-eyed when they spoke of her first performance with her family in the audience. Kudos to Katie!

wow, my teacher told me sam houston would be a amazing school to go to, they have a great musical theater program.

im so happy for her, hopefully ill get to see her in the summer

Yes, I know my profile name is spelled incorrectly. That's what happens when you don't spell check and just push done. I wear it as a reminder to spell check.

I saw her today.

She was wonderful. She captured the childlike quality of Clara, as well as Clara's ability to find true love. I hadn't read the article about her before I saw her perform, and I am blown away to learn how little professional experience she has had.

Brava!

ps - I was devoted to Kelli in the role, and wasn't sure I wanted to see it again after she left, but I am thrilled to see the role in such capable hands.
