Brooklyn isnt set to close at this point, but boy are the producers trying hard to save the show. Stunt casting ideas, cheap tix (http://www.nytheatre.com/nytheatre/coupbroo.htm $29 tix for Feb. 8th-10th), and waiting through the winter.
I hope this show lasts long, I really loved it.

I enjoyed the show a lot...I dislike the cd terribly, I cannot listen to it. But with how it is selling how much longer can the producers wait?

Everyone I know who has seen the show says the cast is Amzingly wonderful...except for Kevin Anderson.
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

They're thinking it's a classic children's book with instant name recognition for generations of readers, timote. I just hope they do it justice. Between this, Narnia, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, they're pretty much taking my childhood and sticking it onscreen.
