Kiera takes a million, Les Mis the movie, Summer is Ohh La La Girl and LND take over 4million already

Although Baz taking credit for the Kiera news is wrong because I was emailed from Ambassadors before his column was up!

Plus what he also seems to have missed is that the Kiera play is priced at £65 a head. Yes thats premium, but if you went on the Ambassadors site the majority of stalls were premium, only the very front and very edges were below £65

Obviously worked as its selling really well.

Well... is it selling well?

Ticketing Agencies (who have bought the majority - i would say 75% of advance sales) are not reporting overly huge sales.

£67.50 is a heckof a lot for Mon-Thurs ... if you don't boook direct your looking at close to £180 for two seats and even if you book with See - your looking at £130 for two seats... not many can outlay that money in advance.

Even if they have taken a million - with the average price bring £50 for a ticket (upper circle etc) thats only 20,000 people through the door - thats only 13 performances sold out.

I did wonder about 'Prick up your ears' - I had an offer for £10 tickets so assumed that they had a few spare seats to fill. Conversely - how long before Misanthrope tickets appear on Ebay for vastly inflated prices do you think? :)
