I recently took my 85 year old mother to "Sweet Charity." She's healthy, but still...
At intermission, there was the usual stampede for the bathrooms, and the ladies' was downstairs. As I tried to help her fight the crowds, I felt an arm grab me; there was an usher, who said "not all the way downstairs for her" and led us to a private bath at the back of the orchestra. I had never known about this, but it was a godsend! A minor act of kindness made all the difference to us that day!

that is so sweet. I'm glad someone helped your mother. that is very kind and considerate. more people should be like that.
That is very kind. There are several theatres, I believe, that have specific restrooms for older/disabled patrons, and the Hirschfeld is probably one of them.
Wouldn't you think I would know this, having gone to Broadway since I was 10? Sometimes, I think I am SOOOOO Dumb! I will check this in the future when I arrive at a theater with her.
