'King Lear' Revival Closing early

Saw this in the NYT. Am I crazy in saying BWW hasn't reported it yet?

I guess the general public doesn't want to have to slave away through a long boring play that was a chore to sit through in high school and is still a chore to sit through now - an artist that audiences pretend to like to seem sophisticated but can't understand 95% of what is going on or the details of the foreign language - English in name only.
