It's currently extended until Sept 2016. So my guess is that it depends on how it goes once Kelli leaves again. Probably still a few months too early to tell.

does anybody know if and when it will be on PBS? I want to get thickets for that performance.

The show has not posted a closing notice. It cannot "extend" unless a closing date is set. It is an open ended run as of now. The current block of tickets being sold only goes so far, but that does not mean it will close. A new block of tickets (or a closing notice) will be released in the future.
