Hi all, wondered if anyone could help.
Coming over from the UK in couple of weeks and really want to see Kinky Boots. Currently there are only discounts available up until 5th May, does anyone have any idea if another code will be released (coming a week later). Just had a look on telecharge and looks like the friday we are there is completely sold out, and only a few tickets available for the sunday but at full price. Just dont know if anyone knows how its selling and if we just bite the bullet and book.
any help would be massively appreciated.
thanks

Posted: 4/16/13 at 2:36pmI wouldn't count on another discount at this point. The show is selling really well. I hope you get some tickets because its a great show. Really fun!

If there is already limited seating for the performance weekend you want, I wouldn't wait for "possible" discounts.
(Of course, if your luck is anything like mine, there will be a discount the day after you pay full price.)

Posted: 4/16/13 at 7:10pmTry the booking on Givenik.com--their code shows good through Oct. 2. I used about a week ago for June with no problems and 5% of the sale goes to the charity of your choice. It is only $42 off the Orch/Front Mezz. Price.

Posted: 4/21/13 at 7:19pmThanks, Scottsacto, for mentioning Givenik.com. I had never heard of this site. I originally planned to rush for Kinky Boots, but since 2 of my shows have closed had to make other arrangements. I was able to get discount for June 7. The mezz seats were $57, where Telecharge lists them now at $77. With fees for Row P was $68. Of course, $31 more than rush, but don't have to wait in line for 3 hours. Not really sure how great the rush seats were. But I'm happy. Thanks again.

Posted: 4/21/13 at 8:17pmI rushed at noon on Wednesday the 10th for the matinee, so I basically walked in, asked if they had any rush and was out the door with my ticket in maybe three minutes. Hopefully there's some positive buzz going so it may not be quite that easy anymore.

Posted: 4/21/13 at 8:22pmWhere was your seat? It will also be Tony Week, so might be more difficult, had I waited.

there's a big difference on the rush line for weekdays vs weekends for this show. The Broadwayspotted rush report listed 60 people in line by 9:40am for the weekend vs 8 for the weekday. Probably safer that you got your tickets in advance!
Thanks Scottsacto for that givenik link, I'd never seen it before, but will be adding it to my bookmarks!

Rushed for this last sunday, was front row on the side but the way the staging is you didn't miss a thing. Was it worth the early morning.... no.
Really disliked this show, was so dissapointed as had huge hopes. Also would it kill to hire a dilect coach, the accents were all over the place.
