Does anyone know how long the lines have been recently and how easy it is to win a lottery ticket?
Thanks!
I can only speak to my lottery experience which was in the winter. At that time the lottery was pretty easy. I think about 45 people there on the weekday I attended. A friend of mine went recently, and there were more people than that, but it still seems like Kinky Boots has one of the easiest bway lotteries in terms of odds.
Broadway Spotted also has fairly up to date odds info on lotteries and rushes:
I believe Kinky Boots switched over to an online lotto!

They did. I entered the first day to try it out. It looked like most if not all of the normal lotto seats were filled (and towards the end at least they were giving out close to 70 tickets - I was ticket number 63 a few weeks ago).
I will say this, the order in which you pick up and pay for your ticket after the notification goes out corresponds with the earlier your name would have been called in the in person lottery. So if in person you were the first person to be called, you seem to be getting the same ticket if you were the first to come to the box office. I guess in a way it is more of a selective rush group if that makes sense.
Out of curiousity, why aren't they using TodayTix for their lottery?

I like this much better this way. With Today's Tix, a lot more people just log in and see a bunch of lotteries and they may or may not want to see a particular show..they are just there.
This way..the same way that Something Rotten's lottery works (Jujamcyn), you really have log into the lottery of a particular show that you are interested..and it seems that you probably have a better chance of winning this way..by people who really want to see the show.
