trying to find the info on the Kinky Boots standing room policy and cant find it, can anyone help me out?

I did standing room for Kinky Boots this past weekend. They do sell standing room tickets for $27 each, but I was told they only sell those when the show is completely sold out. (I believe it's cash only) On Sunday, I checked at 12:45, then at 1:50, and then just waited to see if they would sell out. They told those of us waiting for standing room to line up outside the theatre, and that they would let us buy them when the show was sold out. We did not get the tickets until 15 minutes before curtain. Everyone at the box office was very nice and extremely helpful though. As for how many standing room tickets they offer, I'm not sure, but at least 7 people got in. The view was great, there's some mezzanine overhang, but I didn't miss anything at all.

The standing room listing is no longer on playbill; anyone know the status of Kinky's SRO policy?

I did on standing room July 31st. The tickets went on sale when the box office opened. On matinee days they sell both performances in the morning. $27, I think. I got there around 6am and was third in line. I could have slept in a bit more. By 9am the line was pretty long. First gal got there at 5am. I forget exactly how many spots are available, but 12 rings a bell. The standing room spots are behind the side sections. There were four of us standing on the house left side next to the sound booth. Great view. Easy show to stand for. We had a blast.

I would love to see this show again! I think standing room is the way to go. Can you buy only one ticket, or two?

Has anyone tried standing room recently? I've only done rush and lotto at KB. I'm trying to figure out what time to get to the box office... Any advice would be super helpful!

Ditto! Is there a way to know if it will be sold out in advanced, by like, checking online? I know Matilda has a calendar on the website that says when the shows are sold out.

Pretend you're going to buy a ticket for the day you want to attend and see how many seats are available for purchase. If you're going on Friday through Sunday, your odds probably increase...

Has this been offered recently? I'd be interested in going to a Saturday matinee, and I've heard the lottery seats in the boxes don't offer the best view so it'd be great if anyone would have some experiences to share about standing room.

it's been up at TKTS frequently lately, so I doubt they've been selling SRO.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
