In the thumbnails from the show she does look kind of shiny and scary.

Also, someone should tell TV News Desk there is no song in Wicked called "Because I Knew You."

I still doubt that's the reason she uses Botox but I also didn't know, until today, that the FDA had approved it for treating chronic migraines. Interesting.

Kristin did receive a very serious head injury while on the set of The Good Wife. I thought that might be where the migraines were coming from so I bought the botox explanation. But the article seams to indicate it was before that-- although she's had bad neck problems for years (not sure if that would contribute to migraines).

Or should could just have migraines and receive Botox for it. I believe her, and still think she is one of the greatest stage talents of this generation.

A person can also get botox for vocal problems. Maybe that's why she has so much trouble moving between her chest voice and head voice.

It's not just the Botox, most actresses who get Botox just can't move their foreheads, which is freaky and baffling enough (aren't actors supposed to show emotion? I don't get it). But her entire face looks so plastic, she's almost in Courtney Cox territory. It's super gross, actually. And bless your heart if you think that's what aging looks like!

Totally agree with number one, she's hugely talented, I'll never forget watching her live in THE APPLE TREE during my first trip to NYC, talk about a star turn.

Forget her face, the performance was awesome. So what if she looked at the prompter....new words to a song for which she has automatic recall might call for some visual aid!

Hopefully this puts Weiner in his place (!) and doesn't give him good publicity. Who wrote it? I would wager Vilanch had a hand in it.....

I tend to agree about the song. Clearly the Weiner "news" is fodder for the late night talk shows -- but there was something about this particular bit that was (to my taste) not particularly funny and too mean spirited...especially for network television.

Letterman has certainly been dishing it out -- making fun of the pseudonym and showing photos of rock formations and vegetables that have a phallic theme....but somehow he seems to remember that Weiner and his wife are real people going through a very public embarrassment. Perhaps Letterman's own public embarrassment has softened him...or perhaps he isn't willing to do anything for a joke...or doesn't have to.

The jokes seemed too obvious to me. Also, the random switching into the original Wicked lyrics threw me off. I'm sure that they could have thought of something to replace "Just not quite as popular as me."

Yeah, she has been pretty open about the Botox for the Migraines.

She also suffers from Ménière's Disease. I am not sure if that has any impact on the Migraines.

I thought she looked fine (thought thin), sounded pretty great, but the lighting was pretty harsh (and the makeup overdone).
