Has anybody seen Kristin Chenoweth in her current tour? I know it's only made a few stops so far but I'll be seeing her on Friday in NJ. I've never seen her in a concert setting and am looking forward to it. Anybody else going?

I will see her in November here in LA. Can't wait. I doubt it, but I hope she sells merchandise.

I am also going on Friday. Never seen her in concert either. But, if she sounds as great as she did in On the Twentieth Century, it should be a great show.

Does anyone know her set list?
I hope she sings something from On the Twentieth Century. I've listened to that cast recording so much. I'd love to see her sing "Never", "Babette", or "Veronique". Maybe all? (wishful thinking..) Oh, and I'd love to hear her sing "Till There Was You" from The Music Man.. she sings my favorite version of that song.

People With Money reports on Tuesday (September 8, 2015) that Chenoweth is the highest-paid singer in the world, pulling in an astonishing $82 million between August 2014 and August 2015, a nearly $50 million lead over her closest competition.

Seeing her in November in Jacksonville. The past setlists listed are from her Coming Home (not sure if that was the name of her cd) tour. If these concerts are part of that tour then the setlist is pretty good. At least I knew alot of the songs. She's not selling at all in Jacksonville. Will be curious to read the reviews of those who are seeing her before me.

To be clear, her "paid" value apparently isn't from actual singing/performance.

I'm seeing her next month in Rochester, NY. I was on the fence about spending the $, but after seeing her in On the 20th Century, I decided I had to go. I loved her in that!
I was interested to see that they're charging much more for her concert than they did for Audra McDonald's concert last year. Of course, Audra performed with the Rochester Philharmonic, and I guess Kristin is bringing her own musicians? And the sponsor is the Eastman School of Music rather than the RPO. I paid about $75 to see Audra, in the orchestra. Orchestra seats for Kristin (same venue, the Eastman Theatre) were about $200. I wound up getting seats in the loge but I"m sure they'll be fine.
I'm also hoping she sings something from 20th Century, but I'll be happy with anything!

Wow, Karen, that's high. When Audra came last year, she was in a smaller venue here, and I paid $50 for second row. Kristin is in our bigger venue, (seats about 3,000) I paid $35 for second orchestra. It is about 24 rows from the stage. I will probably move down closer. It"s not selling at all here. Enough seats for her to still do the show, but way far from a sellout. She is performing some songs with our Children's Chorus.

I think her NJ show sold out in about a month. Tickets went from $79-$149. I was honestly surprised that it didn't sell out faster. Then again, it isn't in the city, so maybe that's why.

I saw her at Wolf Trap on August 28th. She was INCREDIBLE. She opened with "Should I Be Sweet?" from her Let Yourself Go album (which I was ECSTATIC about because I'm literally obsessed with that album and have not heard her sing any of those songs in… well ever actually). And then she stuck with some Coming Home stuff and did her two Wicked bits (but kept "Popular" in English) and the Chorus Line bit. As well as Bring Him Home (which yet again she is the only one who can sing that and bring me to tears). I wish the program had her setlist in it but it was just the season program that they mail everyone. No On the Twentieth Century stuff though, which I actually wasn't expecting her to do at all.
She sounded incredible, though. I was a little nervous going in because I just didn't like the use of her doing those throaty notes in On the Twentieth Century. I have no idea how to explain what I mean since I am not a singer, sorry. But her voice was on point, her emotion was warm and genuine and beautiful, and she was extremely playful and grateful to just be on stage.

Kristin's LA show is almost sold out. There is only 2 sections left. And they are both facing behind her. I feel so dumb for waiting so long.. (it went on sale a couple of days ago..) I'm going by myself so there is always better chances to get those random single seats, but you never know. They are selling for $53 here.

I saw her in Ohio a couple of weeks ago! I loved her in On The 20th, so I made it a point to go. She was AMAZING. Very down to Earth and funny, sweet, and her voice was beautiful. My favorites were Little Sparrow, Bring Him Home, and Moon River. She dedicated her Bring Him Home performance to Kyle Jean-Baptiste and got a bit emotional while singing it. She was stellar! Popular and For Good were other highlights for me, as Wicked is one of my favorites.
She sang a bunch of other songs from Coming Home, too: Maybe This Time, I Was Here, Upon This Rock, I Will Always Love You. I think she changes the set list slightly from show to show, but she also sang Should I Be Sweet, Borrowed Angels, When She Loved Me (from Toy Story 2), 9 to 5, Dance 10, Looks 3, and All The Things You Are.

I saw the opening night of her tour in Park City. INCREDIBLE. I have seen her in productions several times- but this was much better. Not to be missed.

I saw Kristin almost two years ago at Carnegie Hall, which I guess not surprisingly was sold out at hefty ticket prices. I wasn't so happy earlier in the year when she appeared at City Center, with all the good seats sold in advance to American Express card holders, leaving people like me who supported City Center by attending Encores up the creek. I guess money is a perpetual concern for them.
I love her first album and wish she would do another like it. The song selection. Mostly a collection of half remembered songs from half forgotten shows and films. The title song, "Let Yourself Go," an Irving Berlin number introduced by Ginger Rogers in the Astaire/Rogers film Follow the Fleet. One of the fairly rare times that Ginger was allowed to shine on her own. The second cut (I guess the term "cut" isn't used much in the digital era) "IF you hadn't" with its rapid fire, hilarious lyrics by Comden and Green, the same pair who did the book and lyrics of 20th Century.
Other songs that allow her to show off her comedic talent are the well-known "Girl in 14-G" and Gershwin's "Hangin' Around With You" shared with Jason Alexander.
I could go on, but the download is only $9.99 on iTunes and you can read the 93 reviews.

She is selling out at Tilles (Long Island) with the top seat at $250.
Kristin brought a tear to my eye with her recent "Bring Him Home" but I really love when she shows her comedic side. I saw her two years ago at the Allen Room and loved her rendition of Comden & Green's "100 Easy Ways to Lose a Man."

Thanks for the link. A double treat. "If" came up next.
I live on Long Island and the Tilles Center is a nice venue. Wonder how I missed out on this.

I am going to wait because some Tilles subscribers will opt out and those tickets will show up later on Ticketmaster.
