Was just watching SATC and thought KD would be a great Roxie. Anyone know if she can sing and/or dance? She is so gorgeous.

IMDB does not mention if she has done much major stage work, but she does yoga, so you know she can bend.

Not sure Kristin Davis would work. I always thought she was the least talented of the four girls, but it doesn't seem like talent is really a quality the Weisslers are always looking for in a Roxie.

Hmmm, I think Kristen Davis is far too sweet for Roxie. I don't really seeing her having much of an edge. Maybe SJP in her heyday could have been a great Roxie.

Davis played a great crazy on "Melrose Place". I think she'd be a fantastic Roxie.

So glad someone mentioned her craziness on The Place. I find it so funny that people think of her as little meek Charlotte, just like most people only think of Marcia Cross as M. Stewart 2.0 Brie. But they forget that both these ladies were crazies on Melrose.

And also, which "the series" do you mean? Because they are apparently working on a remake/reworking/continuation (whichever they choose) of Melrose Place, what with the recent success of 90210 and all.

Nothing can beat the episode when Kimberly (Marcia Cross) looks in the mirror and takes off her wig to reveal her scars. The look on her face was satanic.....fabulous!!! I liked her much better as Kimberly.

As far as Kristen Davis is concerned, I didn't like her on Melrose, and I also thought she was the weakest character on Sex and the City. But, if Melanie Griffith was Roxie, I don't think that Kristen could possibly be worse.

Well, PiraguaGuy2, considering how CLASSY SATC is, you might be right that going into one of the best loved shows in Broadway history might be a step down. But at least it will keep her working until Deck the Halls II starts filming?
