Congrats to her and her husband then! That's great news.

Wish I could see this cast, but full price for this play doesn't appeal to me.

I didn't see Ashley in the last revival, but if her performance as Mattie Fae Aiken is any indication of what she'll do with this role, she's going to be hamming it up beyond belief. Her performance as Mattie Fae was a disastrous cartoon. I'll never be able to forget her incessant whine in the first act, "But we got them dooooooooooooooooooooogs."

Same thing in Dividing the Estate.

Just saw the show today. Absolutely fantastic. I could totally see Stamos stepping in for McCormick though. Don't kill me when I say that, but I could definitely see him pulling him off. Am quite upset to hear Laroquette, McCormick and Jones are leaving - they are some of the best part of the show.

Elizabeth Ashley was great in the previous production of The Best Man.
