Sad. She had a nice chemistry with Applegate & LaManna.

I hope Kyra has big plans in the future. That girl can sing!!

I would hope she is leaving to be part of COLOR PURPLE or another new show.

*sighs* Hopefully, the new girl is good.

Didn't care for her in the show. I thought she and LaManna had no chemistry (and I loved LaManna's Nickie). Good luck to her replacement.

I don't think she played it as gritty and hard as other Helenes. But I really enjoy her voice.

I wish I had known she was leaving. I would have gone to see the show before that.

That's sad...I really did enjoy her voice...although I didn't particularly like her in the part.

Well her voice is leagues and leagues better than Solange Sandys(out of town).. Solange's voice is not easy on the ears. Kyra has that smooth soulful sound going on.

I didn't see Kyra in the show... but she certainly does sound lovely on the CD. Best of luck to her & her replacement!

I liked her... preferred LaManna but thats just me. They all had great chemistry. I hope she goes on to bigger and better roles.

I loved her in the show. I thought she danced the crap out of the part and was a lot better then Janine. I prefered Kyra to Janine. I didn't think they had chemistry in the show though.

And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...

I didn't think that Kyra and Janine had great chemistry either, but I thought that Kyra was wonderful as Helene. I loved her voice and she danced the hell out of that show. I preferred her over Janine LaManna. Best wishes to Kyra in the future.

Well Janine has been on Broadway for a while. Janine truely has one of the most versatile voices on Broadway, she is some vocalist.

Kyra is an up and comming talent. It's not really fair to compare their talents. But I honestly thought they worked good together in the show.

Janine is a triple threat who has a lot of experience under her belt. And Kyra is a fresh rising star in the industry.

Love them both, but it's not easy to compare them.
