Hey yall,
Which show would you recommend more between LA CAGE and PROMISES? Also, if you have Row B tickets for LA CAGE, is that the first row of seats which aren't the cabaret table? Would you say the view is obstructed because of this? Also, would you consider LA CAGE 'family friendly'? lol
Anyone know how long Hayes is scheduled to stay in PROMISES for? Is it a good production?
Thanks in advance!
I LOVED Promises, Promises, but I know I'm on the minority here. LaCage was good too, but I liked the 2004 Tony winning revival much more.
Definitely LA CAGE. Get them now before it wins the TONY tomorrow.
I enjoyed Promises, Promises but absolutely loved La Cage. I'd go see that for sure.
Both were good evenings at the theatre, although neither really wowed me. I'd give the edge to LA CAGE.

Thank you all for your input.
singtopher - What suggestions do you have that recently 'wowed' you? I am open to any suggestions really, but was curious as what would be better between these two.
Also - do you guys know where the rush seats are located for both productions?
Thanks again for all of your input! I need to get on it before the Tonys tomorrow - thanks macbeth!
Don't know about Promises, but I rushed La Cage last weekend. The seats are in the boxes on both sides of the theater, 8 seats in each box. They are lined up in 4 rows of 2. If you can, get a number 1 or 3 (stage side). The view from the stage side seats are wonderful. I got the last ticket last Sunday arriving about 5 minutes after the box office opened, so maybe line up a bit earlier (especially if you go after the Tonys). Also, I believe that with your student ID you can buy two tickets for this rush.
Report back if you rush Promises. I'm hoping to rush it sometime this week.
Don't bother rushing LA CAGE. Get last row balcony seats. They're the same price and while you sit farther away, you don't miss a thing. Not to mention the seats are infinitely more comfortable.
See LA CAGE.
