I will be seeing LSOH on Jan 17th(sat mat). Does anyone know if the understudies for Little Shop will most likely perform on a matinee? To anyones knowledge has Jon or Darren gone on for Hunter yet and if so are they worth seeing?:) Darren and Jon seem very easy on the eyes for Seymour but that can def be a good thing lol I am also interested to hear about Jessica Snow Wilson...hear she is quite good as Audrey...

Found out if they are good for yourself and go. Your taste can be completely different from a board members.

It would be interesting to see an understudy, though I would probably cry because I love Kerry Butler.

Don't be offended that you were advised to form your own opinion. I'm sure it wasn't meant in a snotty way. I agree that it is puzzling that people want to hear how an understudy is or what people they don't even know think of a show. It blows my mind when people ask of me while I'm working, "How's the show?" Do you think I am free to say, "It stinks! Boy, were YOU robbed"? If I say, "It's great," they say, "Oh, well, of course you HAVE TO say that." :) Just go & have fun & don't even think about it. The depth of talent on Bway is amazing. Besides, I have seen understudies who are worlds better than the regulars they're covering. BTW, I love Hunter in the role, but have seen Jonathan is LSOH & F&T & he is terrific, a real talent. Haven't seen Darren yet, but I don't think he's gone on yet.

I would love to Jennifer Snow Wilson. Has she ever gone on yet? Was she involved in the Florida production?

I didn't think you to be snotty...I was also not offended. I did sense a little bluntness to ur response. I have seen numerous performances in new york and on tour and have always formed my own opinions. I happen to dislike Throughly Modern Millie..and a lot of people like it. I was not simply asking "how did you like the show" I was asking if anyone had seen any of the understudies and if so did they like them. I most likely will NOT see an understudy so the only thing I can gain is another persons thoughts. I might not see Jessica Snow..so I would ATLEAST like to hear about her performance...I mean atleast that...

The second time I saw it I saw the Mushnick understudy and the Orin one. The Orin one was amazing (better than Sills) and the other wasnt very good at all.

One of the Seymour understudies has an absolutely fantastic voice. Not sure if it's Darren or Jon, but one of them...on his website he has an audio clip of Hymn of Love - absolutely gooorgeous. I think it's Darren...
