Definitely a difference in the two threads on this topic. In the other, everyone's glorifying her for being hilarious in tirades. In this, many people think she's just a cranky diva.

Please I'm glad that's all she has to complain about. I wonder if she shouldn't be thanking Skank of America? They may have saved her life by stopping the sale of that spinach.

Shouldn't she have an assistant or something? I would have paid to see this washed-up has-been bitching at someone like that MadTV customer service rep. I wonder if she screams at red-lights?

Customer Service reps are paid dirt. Patti has a right to rant in her blog but for her to do it to powerless CSR at B of A is stupid. She should be ranting to the CEO - someone who actually has the power to do something.

I'm sorry, but I should not be expected to feel bad for Patti LuPone when some bank snafu inconveniences her. Boo frickin' hoo.

These types of things happen by mistake every day, and we all get the runaround. It sucks whether you're a poster on a BroadwayWorld message board, a school teacher in Queens, a stock broker downtown, or a Tony-winning Broadway star. It's bad no matter which way you slice it.

Ranting about a bad customer service experience in your blog when you know you're a prominent actress and theatre personality seems childish. I'm sure she had difficulties, but she's just being immature.

What I don't understand is why people keep saying "I don't feel sorry for her." Nowhere do I see her asking for pity. I'm sure she's aware that what she istyping is funny, albeit anger charged.
