Is it too premature to even speculate about whether the decent reviews will spur an LJ cast recording?

Even if the box-office tanking continues, maybe they'll go the High Fidelity route and use their last dime to record it for posterity/potential regional life.

When I asked about it, I was told it was in the works, so ideally they'll be recording one soon.

I really hope there is one I loved the music to this show...it'd be a shame to lose it!

I asked Patti Murin at the stage door last night and told her that there needs to be one just for her Act I finale.
She told me that they're waiting to see how they do through January.
I really hope things go well for them. I absolutely adored the show, and it was heartbreaking to sit in the mezzanine and see BOTH the left and right sides COMPLETELY empty.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully that's not the only factor, because things continue to look awful on the box office front.
