Is it too premature to even speculate about whether the decent reviews will spur an LJ cast recording?
Even if the box-office tanking continues, maybe they'll go the High Fidelity route and use their last dime to record it for posterity/potential regional life.
I asked Patti Murin at the stage door last night and told her that there needs to be one just for her Act I finale. She told me that they're waiting to see how they do through January. I really hope things go well for them. I absolutely adored the show, and it was heartbreaking to sit in the mezzanine and see BOTH the left and right sides COMPLETELY empty.
