They interviewed Gary and Daniel... talked about the show and it's signifigance.. Katie had on one of Gary's fur wrapps from the show. Then danile introduced gary who sanga verse, then dashed off... La Cagelle then tore it up for a good five minutes doing the Can-Can number -- they were absolutely INCREDIBLE -- then gary dashed on for the ending... viola.

I was sitting at one end of the cafeteria this morning, and happened to glance at the TV at the opposite end. I thought 'Is that Gary Beach? No, it can't be...' I'm guessing it was lol

I was almost late for work because I had to see it (even tho' I taped it also)! Just amazing dancing! I can't wait to see it------(twice!).

gosh, it's amazing what those male dancers could do...with just a glance at them you wouldn't even know they were men! it was very impressive. i can't wait to see the show!

Are some of the Cagelles women? I think the original La Cage had a few women---Then at the end they revealed who was whom ---(maybe that should read who was what.) Hmmm :)

The original cast did have two or three women in the chorus, but in the revival they are actually all men.

Then in that case---they look fabulous! I was thinking---that one is too good looking---must be a woman. I cannot believe how good the dancing is-----(especially the flexibility)!

Was it the guy that resembles Nicole Kidman?? That was the only one I had a hard time believing was a man when I saw it in the theater.

I haven't been to the theater yet (12/27 and 5/10 are the dates I have tix)---I was just seeing them on the Today show today. Some had very delicate looking faces. (others didn't) :)

My mother taped it, thank goodness. I squealed girlishly when they first showed Gary - ahh! I love that dress. And the wig, oh my goodness. And when the Cagelles started dancing, I was nearly jumping up and down (nearly, since I hurt my toe earlier today and can't walk) and crying, "Oh my god, I remember that part!"
I need to watch it again. Which Cagelle are we talking about, by the way? Hanna from Hamburg - Brad Musgrove - is one of the more feminine Cagelles. I love him.

I thought it was a stitch that Katie couldn't look Gary in the face and ask him a serious question. Every time she looked at him directly she'd start laughing. I also thought it was cute the way Daniel introduced the Cagelles as the most beautiful group of women on Broadway!

And she kept trying to ask serious questions and she couldn't stop giggling. I don't remember exactly what she said, but she mentioned something about Gary's jewels, and then his cleavage. Okay, I need to watch that right now. Let's see if I can hook the VCR up to the computer and make a video/.ram of it. It'll be terrible quality (if it's a .ram), and it might be kind of huge, but...well, I'll see what I can do.
