Lady Day Stage Door

I'm planning on seeing Lady Day in the next few weeks. Does Audra usually come out after the show for autographs and pictures?

Yes, she does. She's very kind and generous with her time.

As the previous poster said, she is incredibly kind and gracious. She will takes pictures and chat and even do "selfies" if you ask. I chatted with her at the Lady Day stage door and she couldn't have been nicer. We took pics, talked about her prep for the role and took pics and a selfie. She told me they were going to film the show in addition to the recording...hope that happens. Go and you will be happy you did!

FYI on matinee days she typically doesn't come out between shows. I'm sure there's been an exception, but it has been my experience on Sat. she does not come out. I asked the Box Office and they said that seems to be the trend. However, go and see this show! She is incredible and not to be missed!

Where is the stage door? I went a few weeks before the Tonys and asked a staff member where to go, and I was told just to wait by the front entrance. But I waited for about a half hour and didn't see anyone - including anyone else waiting in that whole entire area, except girls taking pictures with the Wicked posters. So I left bc I felt creepy being the only person around. Did stage door just start getting packed after the Tonys or did I miss something?

She is the epitome of class. She will rock your world on the stage and at the stage door.
