Posted: 9/5/08 at 9:01pmI saw Dee live awhile ago, and she did not suck. Now, she's no Kristy Cates, but she was good none the less. And I REALLY hope Rondi is there. Here and Gene have such GREAT chemistry. They play off of each other so well.

I don't mind Dee in the role (I actually think she sings better than Kristy Cates). . but her take on the role is move-by-move an exactly copy of Kristy's. Sometimes I forget that I'm seeing Dee, but the sly sarcasm doesn't come as naturally to her as it did to Kristy.
I miss her

I got a signed Playbill signed by the entire cast and Dee wrote a special note saying "Come back to the show soon!"
I didn't see the show. Justin Caster sent me the playbill. Yes, the same man who paid 18 K to ban gay marriage.

Posted: 9/5/08 at 9:22pmKristy has to be my all time favorite Elphaba. Her "look to the western sky!" sent chills down my spine. I would have been in heaven if they brought her back to close out the show. But I will take Dee. And I also noticed that her acting was almost identical to Kristy's.

Kristy was Elphaba when I saw the show with Kate Loprest.
She truly was amazing!
