Last Chicago Wicked Cast?

Will this be the closing wicked cast in Chicago
Dee Roscioli (Elphaba)
Annaleigh Ashford (Glinda)
Rondi Reed (Madame Morrible)
Gene Weygandt (The Wizard)
And will the L.A. Cast be the same when it moves to San Fran?

Rondi won't be. She is going to London to do August. Teal is moving to SF with the show I believe. Erin is rumoured to be leaving in October & being replaced by Kristin Chenoweth for the last few months of LA. She will NOT be moving to SF if it turns out to be true.

I am so excited that I got tickets to their final night. And I am excited I will be able to see Rondi and Kristoffer again. They are so great in their roles, and I have missed them, the last time I saw the show the two of them were not in the cast.

We should have a BWW get together before/after the show!

ski: It is a rumour, BUT she has been doing a lot of filming for Pushing Daisies like she is trying film enough scenes for her to take break from it.

Lake: Rondi WON'T be in the final cast.

Rondi is going to be doing a 15 week stint on Broadway soon after London.

Have they announced who will be closing out the show as Morrible?

As sad as I am to hear that Rondi will not be there at least I get to be there that night.

And my eye candy Kristoffer will be there too.

Every single "fact" NGD has posted is wrong. As per the Chicago Tribune Rondi Reed will be back for the last few performances of Wicked in Chicago before heading to do it on Broadway. As for the Kristen Chenoweth rumor- you have GOT to be kidding me.

It would be kinda crazy if Rondi closed out Wicked in Chicago as August in London is supposed to close on Jan 21st... so... that would be only a couple of days turnaround time... which is not impossible... but... yikes! Two/Three days max. And that would allow no extension for her should August be a success in London. It seems like a lot of trouble for a couple days of performances.

Meanwhile, Reed is expected to return to the Chicago "Wicked' in January for the last few performances prior to the close. And then don't be surprised if she appears as Mme. Morrible on Broadway next year.

I personally wish that Michael Seelbach would be Fiyero for the final performance. I saw Kris(his first night back) and he seems bored and as if he doesn't really care to be there.

I'm sure if Kris didnt really want to be there..he would stop showing up. He seems to have a different approach to Fiyero than most. More of a laid-back-prince like attitude, which is appropriate, no?

Also, the Kristin rumor IS likely true. I would say I'm 99.9% positive.

Rondi told me and my friends at the stage door that she will NOT be closing the Chicago production. The article got it wrong. As for Kristin returning, I highly doubt it.

Rumors, rumors!! It's completely possible that her plans have changed since that article in the Trib ran, but I really hope that Rondi Reed is closing the show because I <3 her! If not, well, like Lake said at least our favorite eye candy will be there! haha :)
