Posted: 8/7/07 at 1:27amI love the cast recording, especially "A Miracle Would Happen" and "Goodbye Until Tommarow." While Sherie Rene Scott is not my favorite vocalist, she does Cathy fine, and this is the recording where Norbert really gets to show off his terrific voice. The orchestrations are amazing.

Oh this is one of my absolute FAVORITE shows. So beautifully executed!
The CD is a must and a staple in my car -- which is sadly, where I spend most of my time!
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...

Lauren Kennedy was just fabulous in the role. I prefer her performance to Sherie Rene Scott's. The way Lauren Kennedy portrayed Cathy felt to me as if she was stating the facts. Everytime I hear Sherie Rene Scott's Cathy I feel as if she's whining about them. I sided more with Lauren Kennedy's Cathy during her version and more with Norbert Leo Butz's Jamie during the version with Sherie Rene Scott. Anyone agree? Disagree?
Taryn, I, too love that about "The Next Ten Minutes."
