I actually just listened to this on my way home from work. This recording is always a frequent in my car. I adore the score and would absolutely love to see a production of this somewhere.

I love the cast recording, especially "A Miracle Would Happen" and "Goodbye Until Tommarow." While Sherie Rene Scott is not my favorite vocalist, she does Cathy fine, and this is the recording where Norbert really gets to show off his terrific voice. The orchestrations are amazing.

Oh this is one of my absolute FAVORITE shows. So beautifully executed!

Lauren Kennedy was just fabulous in the role. I prefer her performance to Sherie Rene Scott's. The way Lauren Kennedy portrayed Cathy felt to me as if she was stating the facts. Everytime I hear Sherie Rene Scott's Cathy I feel as if she's whining about them. I sided more with Lauren Kennedy's Cathy during her version and more with Norbert Leo Butz's Jamie during the version with Sherie Rene Scott. Anyone agree? Disagree?
