Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

Ouch. I don't understand how it can say that Eden is making her Broadway debut since she just recently left Wicked, unless for some reason, that someone didn't tell her that she appeared in a Broadway show.

He couldn't even get Eden's credits right, I wouldn't pin too much on him.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

I've never heard of a "quote" good reviewer who had to pin point on peoples bios rather then write a review.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

It may have been because Eden was only an understudy on Wicked, so Brooklyn is in fact her debut.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

That's right, pop. Though she has performed on Broadway as a standby, many would consider this her Broadway debut.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

It's her debut originating a role. And though you might not like what he has to say, Heilpern is a pretty fantastic writer, so he's not worth discounting at all.

Incidentally, Amneris, have you gone public on these boards about your parents' involvement as producers of Brooklyn?

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

actually yes, I have... what do you think all the 6,000 shilling posts were about? Everyone knows, it's old news and no one cares to have another person start a war.

'Everyone knows'

Actually...I didn't.

Me either, though it didn't take a genius to figure it out.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

Maybe you should do the honest thing and not post in any more Brooklyn related threads.

I rarely have 'conflict of intersts' posts...but when I do, I generally try to avoid them.

This may be good advice for everyone here.

Can you tell I've been working in a legal department for WAAAAAY too long.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

Wow, I didn't know that about Amneris, either. However, I took his reviewing the bios as a way to point out the naivete of the people involved. From all I have heard, thier hearts might be in the right place, but they bit off a bit more than they could chew.

By the way, Amneris, what else have your parents produced? Is this their first venture into the producing game?
PEACE.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

TheGaIsSilent, he made one SMALL mistake and it kind of is like her Broadway debut because most people don't even know who Eden is and that she was in Wicked unless it gets mentioned in reviews for Brooklyn. That one small mistake doesn't take away from his credit. Yeah, it'd be great if people got things 100% correct but that'll never happen. You're not perfect but because you make one mistake, should be people start ignoring you and your opinions?

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

That was my favorite review of Brooklyn.

re: Latest Brooklyn! Review

NStar, agreed. However, I thought his review didn't really review the show. It just said it was bad, over and over and over again.
