Public members just for an email about Leguizamo bringing the show to Studio 54 for a limited run from October 19, 2017 - February 4, 2018.

This has me even more confused about what's going on with Roundabout...... We have Time and the Conways and Travesties announced. What else are they doing?

Sounds like whatever their plans are, it didn't require Studio 54 until the Spring...

Looks like Roundabout will just have 2 Broadway plays for the 17-18 season (Travesties, Time and the Conways) since Children of a Lesser God is renting Studio 54 in the spring after "Latin History". Maybe they have a summer production planned for part of their 17-18 subscription season (like Marvin's Room is part of last year's subscription) or something good lined up for the Pels?

(I had heard they were transferring a revival of a play that premiered at a regional theatre more than a year ago, featuring a "star", but maybe it fell through.)

While not yet listed on their website, they did send out an email to season subscribers informing us that our package included a ticket to Children of A Lesser God.

Children of a Lesser God is a Roundabout co-production, as subscribers will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets.

 

Regarding Latin History, Freak was 20 years ago. Not really sure Broadway needs a John Leguizamo return.

Does this show have a preview period? It doesn't look like it.

Hoping this shows up on TDF, I missed it at The Public.

According to playbill's list of Upcoming Broadway shows, Latin History for Morons begins previews on Thursday, October 19 and officially opens on Wednesday, November 15.
