"I'm working on a project that will be announced soon that's for Broadway," she revealed to Houston radio station KILT. "But it's to bring country music to Broadway. I'm trying to merge those worlds together. I think a lot of Broadway musical fans, they don't realize are from the South or from middle America. That's who comes to see Broadway shows in New York. It will be really cool, so I'm excited about it. I'm a producer of it as well."

"Pure Country" performed at the 2008 Bryant Park concert series too I believe with Lauren Kennedy.

Is she definitely in this? Wildhorn's "Bonnie & Clyde" is also very country music and I don't believe Laura Osnes is returning (although casting hasn't been announced). I could see her in either!

ugh she annoys me to no end. can't act can barely sing the last role she was hired to perform. Every other girl since her has seemed to have very little problem with it..and this woman gets star treatment by the bway community...why? why?

I think there were a ton of people who auditioned for this role... remember that creepy "BroadwaySpotted" twitter? They listed a bunch of people, mostly Broadway's blondes & Glindas from what I remember!
