Hey, gang. Ms. Benanti's birthday is rapidly approaching in a few short weeks. And because of her incredible kindness and friendship to me, I thought it would be a nice treat to put together a basket full of goodies for her birthday.
So, I'd like to collect as many fan letters as possible so that she can read one before each performance.
If any of you would like to send her a letter, I'd ask that you do so by July 10th.

Posted: 6/18/06 at 5:32amI saw Ms. Benati in the (fairly) recent summer production of a Little Night Music at the L.A. Opera. What an exceptional voice and such a command of comedic timing. She's just one of those actors your know is going to have a long and fruitful career.

Posted: 6/19/06 at 11:27amI'm not really familiar with some of the things Ms. Benanti has done before in musical theater, but I love her voice on the Wedding Singer cast recording, especially "Someday." I saw her recently in it - great show!
