^ Very accurate. :)
Love her.
This was great! Laura Benanti explains Shakespeare is on youtube. When she explains Romeo and Juliet she talks about Leo Dicaprio and Claire Danes falling in love through a fish tank.
"My ex-husband makes out with Kelli O'Hara..."
Is that a wig?
And this explains why she is one of the very few women I would go straight for in a heartbeat.
I was going to be so salty if shade wasn't thrown at Steven Pasquale..
this might possibly be my new favourite thing.
This woman can do no wrong. Such a wickedly sharp sense of humor. I love that she has ongoing series with both TM and Playbill, too.
Her explanations for "Bridges" and "Let It Be" are amazing! Love her!

I love this video! She's hysterical.
I read that she just signed with CAA. This is the line of the article that struck me:
She’s rumored to be returning to Broadway, probably next season, in another Golden Age musical revival.
Any insiders here have any ideas? I hope it's true!

Well she'd be a wonderful Claire in On the Town, but for some reason I don't think that's it.
Can-Can at Papermill in NJ then Broadway? Benanti does have a history with Papermill.
It might be THE KING AND I.
Apparently Kate Baldwin said at her concert at 54 Below that she'll be headlining Can-Can at the Paper Mill, but I haven't seen an official announcement about that yet.
I would LOVE to see Benanti in The King and I.

Does "next season" imply 2015-2016, or is 2014-2015 still considered as such?

One can only hope she will be starring in the upcoming My Fair Lady revival. She has been mentioning Eliza as her dream role in various interviews and appearances over the last couple of years. I cannot think of anyone better suited or more deserving of the role. I hope her campaigning pays off!
Too old for Eliza.
On the Town perhaps? Hildy or Claire?
It doesn't matter what show she does. I WILL THROW MY MONEY AT THE BOX OFFICE.
^Agreed.
