LOLOLOLOL. That really gave me the giggles.

Is it possible to get a refund? Was thinking maybe I can see Color Purple instead...
"
My opinion will probably not be popular as I just go with the flow with understudies and see the show anyway. But, I have seen Laura Shoop in the show and she is great. And the rest of the cast is excellent too.

How many shows has she missed? She was out when we flew in from Phx to see the show. Laura Shoop was AWESOME though.
Laura Shoop is indeed wonderful in the role.
Ms. Benanti is a great performer as well, but I never rely on her attendance. In anything.
Prior to the Tonys, I watched a prediction roundtable with Michael Riedel, Jesse Greene and a couple other theatre journalists. When discussion of leading actress came up, one panelist (can't remember which) dismissed Benanti as a contender immediately, specifically because she "has missed a number of performances." Obviously she has been out enough that it's made many in the industry remark upon it.
Sorry for the bumping, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Laura's going to be in the show Saturday night?
check the website - they've been very good about sharing planned absences.
There have been no reports that she would be missing Saturday. And from what I've been told, she has recovered now from the nasty case of bronchitis that she was performing with -- and was the cause of her missing several shows -- so hopefully she will be in for the remainder of the run.
Side note: I can't really blame a person for being out while sick. Bronchitis sucks truly sucks, and she definitely went back to the show before she was completely recovered.
I'll be there Saturday night as well - in the front row! Here's to hoping she'll be there haha.

"she was out the 23rd also-as was Jane Krakowski
Since it's their final night show, I'm figuring that she'll be there, but I just wanted to see if anyone had heard anything.

That's what I was thinking. According to a recent tweet from her, she's only scheduled out this Wednesday matinee and the Saturday matinee.
