Laura Linney - Les Liaisons Dangereuses Stage Door

I have a ticket for the July 1st show of Les Liaisons Dangereuses at the American Airlines Theatre. I would love to get Laura Linney's autograph. Could anyone tell me where the stage door is at this theatre? This is my first Broadway show and I'm not sure how this works. Does Ms. Linney give autographs?

Thank you.

Exit onto 43rd street and make a left. The door is kinda hard to explain. Just look for a door near the theater. There will probably be some kind of black SUV or town care parked waiting for her, so you should be able to tell. She signed after the first preview, but I have no idea about how she has been about signing recently.

amyfairycakes- that is really exciting, because I am such a fan of hers. how long did it take for her to respond (i don't care how long it takes, i'm just wondering when to look for it.) Also, do you have to put the US on the mailing address?

Laura Linney is a film actress that has been nominated for 3 Oscars, including this year for The Savages.
She's also been in Squid and The Whale, Love Actually, Mystic River, The Truman Show, Kinsey among others.

nystateofmind627- it took about 4 or 5 weeks to get it back from her, and you don't have to write US on the envelope if you are in the US.

Nope. Don't know her, though she does look like some actress I saw on Broadway a few years ago in a revival of THE CRUCIBLE.

Hmmm.

re: Laura Linney - Les Liaisons Dangereuses Stage Door

I am in the middle of my NYC vacation right now, and saw Les Liasons Dangereuses last night ( I will do a full recap of my experiences soon). I just wanted to comment quickly on this topic.

The show ended about 9:50 last night, and I waited at the 43rd Street stage door. I was very happy with the results.

Ben Daniels came out at 10:30, Sian Phillips at 10:45, and Kristine Nielsen and Laura Linney came out just after 11.

I got all to sign (Sian even signed my Regrets Only playbill) and got pictures with Ben and Laura.

They are all extremely nice, and extremely greatful.

re: Laura Linney - Les Liaisons Dangereuses Stage Door

She's one of the best and most respected film actresses today.

wikipedia: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001473/bio
Laura Linney was born in New York City on February 5, 1964, into a theatre family. Her father is the prominent playwright Romulus Linney. Although she did not live in her father's house (her parents having divorced when she was an infant), Linney's world revolved, in part, around his profession from the earliest age. She graduated from Brown University in 1986 and studied acting at Julliard and the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and, thereafter, embarked on a career on the Broadway stage receiving favorable notices for her work in such plays as "Hedda Gabler" and "Six Degrees of Separation".

"Was nominated for Broadway's 2002 Tony Award as Best Actress (Play) for portraying Elizabeth Proctor in a revival of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible"."

She is great in any movie she is in.
