I'm here to see TIME STANDS STILL again and saw Laura was out. Someone back stage told me her Father just passed away, so I doubt she will return to the show this weekend. Very very sad news. My thoughts are with her and her family today.

How sad!!! Romulus Linney was such a gifted playwright and I a remember him being interview recently on Laura's episode of Inside the Actor's Studio. My condolences go out to Laura and her family.

Condolences to the Linney family. It's difficult to lose anyone, especially someone who's had influence over a tight-knit community. May they be able to mourn their loss in peace, knowing that the support of the community is behind them.

Romulus Linney was a well-respected and successful playwright, author, professor and member of the theatre community. One would hope that he deserves to be known and mourned by his own name and not simply as Laura Linney's father.
My apologies if this is crass, but is there any way to find out if Laura will be back for this evening's performance (short of heading over to the Cort)?
