I noticed that Laura Michelle Kelly will be playing Galadriel in the West End production of Lord of the Rings. Just wondering, can she belt?
Rebecca Jackson Mendoza ripped her song(s) apart in the Toronto production. So just wanted to know.

Hah...if ANYONE didn't need replacing from the Toronto cast it was Rebecca. At least they were ise enough to take Micahel though.

It seems like an easy part to do, the character appears in only 2 scenes. Has only one song.

Most certainly, she can belt. She did a nice job as Eliza in My Fair Lady

she did Eponine and Belle and both roles hav belty songs so I wont worry ~
