you really think Gwyneth is responsible for the success of Iron Man and the Avengers? thank goodness Robert Downey Jr is just along for the ride! Shes like the guy who rides the bench on a Championship Basketball team, coming in for a few minutes a game? LOL shes barely in it.

No one said she was RESPONSIBLE. I stated A FACT - she was in the films and she gained visibility for being in those films no matter what length of time she appeared on the screen. You can't negate the facts or try to re-write history to conform to your hatred. Sorry to ruin your day.

Lea looks terrible in that commercial. Her hair looks good, but the rest of her, not so much. The lighting is too stark and the camera is too close. She's not ugly, but that is not a flattering way to photograph someone with that particular nose and set of facial features. Her eyebrows need grooming, too.

Personally, I would love to see an Evening of Vulgar Tri-State-Area-Bred Belters.

You know, Lea Michele, Idina Menzel, Orfeh, Patti LuPone, Lainie Kazan, Leslie Kritzer, etc. Gals with Big Pipes and Lots of Taste (all of it Bad).

They could make a killing selling Advil in the lobby. And any man within a 2-block radius of the the theatre would be instantly struck gay.

even audrey hepburn would look terrible if you just took a screencap of her in the middle of a sentence. as for gwyneth, i neither hate or love her, but she does seem like a pompous ass, at least when she speaks and writes from her own mind and not a script.

I like Gwyneth. I remember a couple years ago when Bon Appetit magazine put her on the cover and featured her in an article about how cooking was her passion. The uproar on the mag's facebook page blew up beyond belief. Page after page of stuff like...

"you've gone too far! BIG MISTAKE!! if I wanted to see some hollyweird's boobs in my mag I'd buy Good Housekeeping. I'm cancelling my subscription and NEVER coming back!!!!!!! BIG MISTAKE!!!"

I'd never seen such crazy and was surprised because I didn't realize there was even such a thing as Gwyneth hate out there. But people still bitch about it two years later.

can someone explain to me why the hate for anne hathaway? I mean, OK, maybe she tries to hard, but whats wrong with that? she always seems gracious and kind in interviews and such. I prefer that to the aloof jerks that seem to populate in showbiz

People are mad at Anne because she acts like a human and is very humbled by how well her performance is being recieved in Les Mis.People are just complaining because they think she is trying to hard or something. I think she is a delight.Her performance has reached critical aclaim and she will be the one going home with The academy award,not the haters..

When people hate others especially people they don't even know it's a massive sign of insecurity within themselves because they believe the person they are projecting their hate onto possesses something they feel they lack within themselves.

It's very simple. They are crying out: "Who do you think you are?" When in reality they are feeling: "Who do I think I am not."

I don't think she's ugly, as I already stated. However, I think if Lea wants work on the big screen, it's not wise to be photographed in such an unflattering manner. That was her call. She could have been fussier about how she was photographed or asked for approval. Maybe she should have. Lea can look lovely and she should have demanded they make her look that way. That's not being a diva, that's common sense. She's not that rich and powerful, yet. Controlling her appearance is important if she wants to advance in the industry. She should also get herself a stylist that would explain to her why her eyebrows are unflattering to her face. Then, have them groomed by the many talented eyebrow artists on both coasts. Seriously, eyebrows can make or break a career. Even for men. The movie studio that hired Sean Connery to do James Bond had his eyebrows plucked to make him look more suave and handsome. So, it should be a no-brainer for an up and coming starlet like Lea to let someone guide her in how she is groomed. It's not cruel to point it out, it's helpful to her, actually.

Oh that wasn't meant for you Jordan. You may have your reasons for disliking her because you've been around her and have witnessed things that caused those feeling to arise. I get that.

I was referring to people who don't really know or have never been around a person and all of a sudden they HATE the person.

I am mainly talking of over zealous fan boys/girls.

HATE is a VERY strong word.
