I thought Kristin passed on this. I'm sure I read that in either a interview or article.

Please. If Kristin accepted this role, it would be all over Playbill.com and Broadway.com. And I thought I heard she passed on it too, she can do better than Legally Blonde The Musical.

Hi sweetie, whomever started this thread:
Be very very careful when starting threads about
a) Wicked
b) Idina Menzel
c) Kristin Chenoweth
d) any and all combinations about all of the above
I mean no disrespect, and wish you the best of luck posting here! But unfortunately, you will drive some people ballistic when posting, as we have been getting over the overkill on the topic.
Happy Posting!

Kristin would be perfect. And she wouldn't even need to change her performance from Wicked. That was so Elle Woods.

As much as I can see Kristin doing this, I don't want her to. I heard a RUMOR Mel Brooks is trying to woo her for Young Frankenstein...please Kristin do that! LOL Honestly, I don't think she can do any wrong :) I'm looking forward to Bewitched with her, she'll make the movie!

I can see it now...
Kristen: Oh, you men are all alike... 7 or 8 quick ones and you're off with the boys to boast and brag... I think I love him.
Kristen could so do Elizabeth...
C'est ça!

Actually yeah this is all true. Kristin is still on for it. It was strangely on the news about 2 weeks ago and they said everything was still on and if all goes well it will be opening sometime next fall/winter. I also read something about it on broadway.com, idk maybe im wrong or things have changed within the last week but as far as i know....actually Im kinda looking forword to it. I think it would be a pretty good role for her. Please don't kill the messanger lol :)

I highly doubt she would do this show. She is going to get type cast as the dumb blond. I would love to see her in Young Frankenstein.

Why would anyone want to see "Leagally Blonde" the musical?

This actually isn't ture. I have a friend who is good pals with the composer and its not done, and Cheno isn't doing it. She is booked for the next few years not to mention shes too old. Shes the right type, but not the right age group. And it's not happening! But good job stirring up controversy! I'm entertained

Yeah...ummm no. The show has not yet been written. Larry O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin are working on it (while also opening Batboy in London). No offers have been made (according to the composer), and several people are in contention for the role. A demo was made, but primarily as a test-drive kinda thing so that Paramount could make a decision among which writers to use for the project.

The musical sounds extremely stupid, but I would see it just to see it's stupidity. Doesn't really make sense, but my family wants to see it because it sounds so ridiculous.
