Posted: 6/27/07 at 1:27pmYeah there was another thread on this. Personally, I'd get it from Sh-K-Boom...5 bucks cheaper and fast shipping, from what I've heard!

Tony nominations aren't about singing.
Stritch can get a Tony.. and she isn't Audra!

Talentless hack?
Lets not be rude.
She sounds great, though not as spectacular as in person.
Lets move on.

Posted: 6/27/07 at 3:33pmI agree, many of the songs don't come across the same as they do in the theatre, but it's still an enjoyable listen.

Posted: 6/27/07 at 5:25pmI personally can't wait for my disc to come (crossing my fingers for today!). I cannot get "So Much Better" out of my head. Check the site that shant be named, for the video of this song. I think bundy looks and sounds great. I hope they get Megan Hilty to replace her. She needs to move on from Wicked.

LBB was better than I thought she'd be.
The whole score's addictive, IMO.

Maybe this has already been discussed, BUT ..
I saw the show this past Sunday night and as I was waiting at the stage door like an obsessed fan .. out comes Megan Hilty all dressed up. SOO ... maybe this is a sign of things to come?
Of course I could be wrong, because Laura Bell couldn't spend a lot of time posing for pictures because she was going to a party (possibly where Meg Hilty was going too) .. but it's fun to speculate.

I thought she was better than "passable," but she really doesn't assert herself as the obvious star of the show (as Elle should.) I mean, the girl RARELY leaves the stage, but she just doesn't have that special something to separate good from great. I was VERY impressed, however, with Christian Borle. His laid back, natural line delivery and impeccable comedic timing really helped carry the show (In my opinion). I was also impressed with Andy Karl who, I felt, stole the scene every time he was on stage.
