I wasn't there last night. , BUT I do have a new episode up with some GREAT footage of Bailey and i when, well, my pants split....you'll see...

I was there last night and agree with most of the previous posts, so I won't rewrite but I did have some observations to add and questions too!

Observation #1 ~ The crowd's energy was in NO part a negative. For those people who stumbled upon the closing night of Legally Blonde, I say WHO CARES! The final show was there for the performers and the fans of this great musical. 95% of the audience could recite the words verbatim, so the screaming of appreciation was to share in the love of the ending of a cherished and loved cast and show. For those who happened upon it by chance, they got a FUN FUN FUN show full of laughs and all around great time!

Observation #2 ~ I’d say that last night's show was a cross between, Legally Blonde on Broadway meets Rocky Horror Picture Show! I knew the cast was letting it all loose when Asmeret screamed; NOW FALL IN LINE.... completely different and funny.... I just thought.... It's ON!!

Observation #3 ~ Bailey's Elle last night was more passive aggressive towards Vivienne than I had ever seen on the videos from that other site or than I had seen from previous Elles. Bailey's Elle was outwardly mocking and taunting in a funny way and WAY more handsey with Warner. The hip - butt bump was hilarious! But the best part was when Vivienne then looked at Warner and said, "I'm seriously going to kick her ass!" Ok.... was that Vivienne or Kate talking?? Either way.... It was HILARIOUS!

Observation #4 ~ And right after Bailey's SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE... right when she said WHOOO! Her arms didn't go up like choreographed, instead Bailey slapped "Frozen Vivienne" in a high five before dancing up in front stage. LOVED IT!

Observation #5 ~ Autumn and Bailey in the final scene where they say, We love you guys, NO! We love you guys! Bailey and Autumn hugged! Very sweet.

Observation ~ #6 ~ Heather Hatch's entrance... you would have thought it was Jesus or something!

Observation ~ #7 ~ Bailey's kiss with Christian at the end... she had a hold of the back of his head pretty hard and those kisses seemed much longer than usual or what I had seen with other Elles. Was Bailey being funny and laying one last good one on Christian? I found it kind of funny like she was stealing kisses and trying to make him break like she was doing to Kate all night. What was your impression?

Observation ~ #8 During Serious... Did Bailey always do the extra drinking thing like Haven did or was that just for last night? It got a good laugh.

WishingOnlyWounds2.... yeppers! I do happen to be blonde and perhaps I also have a tad bit of jet lag. It definately had to have been Kate Rockell that said that! Thanks for making sense of my fog! I'm still swirling from last night as you can tell.

Asmeret said that she was taking a break and working on a few things.

Orfeh said she was going to be promoting her album. BTW.... her body guard was HUGE.... had to have been 6 foot 7! Or perhaps he just looked huge next to tiny Orfeh.

Kate Shindle hit some off the wall high notes during Remix and the finale. She slid up to her Ab and kept going to a C6, she pulled a Patti LaBelle :)

HOLY SH*T. Orfeh's riffs?! I'm dyin' over here. BRILLIANCE.
Bailey crying all through 'Legally Blonde' is too much. Now I'm a mess.
Orfeh's riffs are only matched by Kate Shindle's. Good god. Speechless.

I was there last night and actually the final performance was a little lackluster.
It was good, but I've seen much better performances of the show, and have seen much more enthusiastic crowds.

So..... I'll try to add some photos from last night's final performance bow. My camera started to freeze up so some of the shots are odd... but I am thinking some of those are begining to be my favorites! This was my good shot of the final bow.

He towered over me and I'm 5'10" but then again Kate Shindle towered over me with her high heels on...LOL.

Why is there no coverage of the final performance anywhere? Or is there and I just missed it? Too soon? I was expecting pictures and videos, like they had with Laura Bell Bundy's last show.

I did see one professional photographer inside and outside during stage door and one large video camera. I'm hoping and assuming that we will see more and hopefully soon!

Oh Oh! I remember something else that was different but special. In So Much Better, LBB, Haven and Becky did the twirls after grabbing the list. Well, Bailey threw in the twirls across the stage, but right before the line See who walks the walk. That was one choreography decision that I always wished Bailey hadn't changed and I was glad she threw the twirls in during the final performance even though it was in a different part of the song than where they were originally.
