adamgreer, Katie Adams auditioned for Margot when the creative team was in the process of finding a replacement for Annaleigh Ashford.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

thanks fischergirl, i thought it was the town on long island and not up state i forgot there was one there and i am from new york but 20 mins from the city. the closest one that i would go to is hartford connecticut.

it would have been fun if katie adams was the 1st replacment for margot.

good luck to the tour cast. jason gillman and tracy jai edwards is a perfect match for warner and vivienne.

When I saw him play the role for Act 2 one night on Broadway, that was my thought as well. He looked older than the others onstage with him, and will certainly look very odd next to Tracy Jai Edwards.

Prior to this, wasn't Matthew Risch (who understudies the role currently as well) rumored to be playing Warner on tour?

I saw Jason understudy (the whole show) and I didn't think he looked unreasonably older than the rest of the cast. His singing was great, but he should work on his comedic timing.

Jason is a very good Warner. He was actually my first Warner. He has great comedic timing and adds a lot of heart to Warner. Unfortunately he's clearly a fair amount older than the rest of the cast but I don't think it takes away from the show.

I wish that he understudied Callahan because I think he could bring a really interesting take to the character.

I agree that Matthew Risch would look great with Becky on the tour but I still wish that Jason Patrick Sands could have understudied Warner (and Kyle) to begin with. He would have been so fierce.

I think that Katie Adams playing Enid is wrong because her website says she's with Wicked through February 09

I love Jason! I'm very excited if he really is a part of the tour :) At first I thought he did look much older then then everyone else, but he still made it believable and really did a great job in the role.

I too have seen Jason as Warner for the whole show. I was in the third row so I could tell he looked older than what Warner should be. Loved his performance and he looked hot playing Warner, I'll admit.

I hadn't heard of D.B. Bonds before but after looking at some photos of him, he just doesn't look right for Emmett. He looks too old. There's also something suave about his look that just doesn't feel right for the character. Ok, done with the superficial comments.

I spoke with both Becky Gulsvig and Natalie Joy Johnson and they are the only cast members from the Broadway production who will be on tour. Becky will, of course, be Elle and Natalie is Paulette. That means that Jason and Tracy will not be on tour. But that's good! With Becky and Laura gone, we need Tracy! And let's remember, Wikipedia is NOT a reliable source! People can edit the cast list however they want, which is not always true. I have few reliable sources and will keep you all posted.
