I found this article. Haven't seen it posted yet. It pretty much is saying "Yay for Mary!", who apparently is a girl from around this local newspaper's area that is going to be in the top 10. She looks like this:

I just have this horrible feeling that whomever the MTV crowd ultimately crowns the next Elle Woods is going to be someone without the stamina to do this marathon role eight times a week, and will be missing performances by the second week. It's one thing to be able to do the role in rehearsals, but another thing entirely to do it onstage all the time.


Becky Gulsvig and Haven Burton had better be ready to go on a lot!

Anyone else think she looks a little old in that picture? Just doesn't seem like a cast member of LEGALLY BLONDE to me, much less Elle Woods.

WEll, on the upside, seeing more of Becky as Elle is never a bad thing :-P

I saw a piece in EW last week about Caridee English (one of the Top Model winner's) being hired to host a "new MTV reality show set to start in spring that's never been done before" and since she was at the MTV premiere, perhaps she is the host?

"ringers"...YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT had some of those in the first audition rounds in NYC, but they were cut anyway. Though some would say that La Austin and also the chick from the TMM tour ("Rocker Sandy") were ringers anyway.

Many of you are assuming that tv viewers will call in and vote for their favorites on the LB reality show. That will not be the case here. This is not going to be anything like "Your The One That I Want".

Grease was not and isn't a disaster. It's still running despite some dire predictions, and making respectable grosses. Secondly, the actress pictured looks younger than LBB, who looked ages older than Reese Witherson, and it still worked out. Anyone interested could have auditioned.

Yes, they are going to live on the floor of a hotel. It's going to be filmed exactly like the typical MTV reality shows as opposed to Grease, Idol...
