Legally Blonde arrives with Lottery

OMIGOD! THE 1ST EVER WEST END TICKET LOTTERY! From Sunday 6th Dec, every day a lucky few will win the chance to buy top price tickets for just 10 during previews of Legally Blonde. Lottery tickets are available in-person from the box office 2 hours before performances with the draw being made 30 minutes later. Cash only. GOOD LUCK!

Surprisingly it is one of the shows that didn't do a lottery on Broadway. Can't wait for first preview on Saturday In a great seat in the Dress Circle Legally Blonde arrives with Lottery. Will be going again the week after too if I win the lottery Legally Blonde arrives with Lottery

Considering the fact that it is produced by a lot of if not all the same people etc. And, there were tons of problems with the general student rush when the show was playing on Broadway, it doesn't shock me that they are going with this route in London.

Know how much my tickets are?

£0. And I'll probably be in or right by the premium area.

I love my job sometimes...

Well done Con with your 1000 post making you a West End Legend, you are now in exhorted company!

Think it is wrong with the state of British Theatre being underfunded that a American show should get Lottery money, this is larency.

I hope you're making a joke Phantom, because you can be quite dippy sometimes...

Even with that said, Spring Awakening presumably had some Lottery money behind it in some format alongside its legion of producers and investors. The Lyric Hammersmith is part-funded by the Arts Council, after all.

Hold the curtain
Stop the show
Fire the director

I have just been called dippy by a stand-by, a Broadway Legend has been called dippy, by a stand-in, the great Cecille Demille will be turning in his grave.

Its Zany darling, the word is Zany. x

So I take it you agree the British hard earned money, should go to American producers?

Well, if American producers are going to put shows on in the West End and I'm going to be buying tickets, then my opinion doesn't really count for anything.

And I'm really not convinced you understood what I was saying at all. D:

re: Legally Blonde arrives with Lottery

I do think that my favourite story of someone trying to wait in line for rush tickets for Blonde during it's run on Broadway was that of a couple of dumb girls camping out in front of the theatre, who, awoke to find out that their pocketbooks were not there. When they asked a cop for help, the cop told them in a typical new yorker attitude, that that is what they get for sleeping in the heart of times square.

Now, I am a pratical kind of guy and if I find out that someone had something stolen from them I feel bad. I really do, but, for those of you who have had the misfortune of going to Times Square, I say to you that my feelings of me laughing bout the situation I had witnessed were more then justifiable.
