Well, Jennifer Coolidge has already been on Broadway.
But, hell, I'd love to see her in this show. Problem is she probably doesn't have much time to devote away from her film career.
That's probably the only reason she was able to do THE WOMEN was because it was a limited engagement.

Yeah, they are definitely doing this as a show!! My friend had an audition for it a couple of weeks ago.

I would deffinetly love to see Coolidge but I doubt she would do it.
Maybe they will rewrite the part so it is a bit easier to cast, kinda like what they did with the Muriel role in DRS.

Posted: 3/7/06 at 9:53pmtoo bad we can't get Witherspoon to come to bway and play Elle in a musical version. Loved her in both Blonde and Walk the Line.

Posted: 3/8/06 at 10:49amThere was some talk that she expressed an interest, but I seriously doubt she would leave her film career right now for Broadway. Especially after just winning an oscar

I love Laura as elle. The first person who came to mind for the Jennifer Coolige character for me actually was Miss. Chenowith, but then I was like wait where did that come from... but I guess she would be good. Any thoughts?
Oh and MissNY I love your icon!

Chenoweth should be one of greatest choices! I love her.

laura bell bundy is doing the readings if you guys havent been reading
show people,BACKSTAGE,laurabellbundy.com,playbill and broadway.com
haha thank you for the SEARCH ENGINE it is needed lol
well yes kristin would be amazing
but i think this musical really shows that original or shows that have plots and real meanings and not a spectacle are giving musical theatre a bad name
it all originated from the classics and vocal technique, thats how all these singers are amazing
shoshana bean is a soprano and so is kristin cheno
just a few to name who know a little about classical musical theatre

What in the world are you talking about?
Inane posts aside, am I the only one who thinks this is probably the most worthless idea for a musical ever?

What? I followed the post up to this point and am lost. What are earth are you talking about? How did Legally Blonde originate from classics(whatever that is)?
I also think its not that great of an idea. Kinda boring. We shall see though...I could be wrong.
