However, the great discount posted on Broadway Box does not work.
I tried online and then called ticketmaster and they said that you might need to go to the box office directly to get the discount. I will not be in NYC until Wednesday, so I will have to see then.
Bummer the discount was pretty good.
Update : I got the discount tickets - see my thread below.

If you go to broadwaybox, the discount is gone.

I noticed that this morning but had printed out the information earlier. I was always suspicious of the code and now I know why.

I tried the same code with no luck on the phone or internet, and then discovered it had been removed from the BroadwayBox website, so I'm pessimistic about using it at the box office. However, the Ticketmaster folks did reveal to me that there ARE discount codes for this show, even if they're not allowed to tell me what they are.
Does anybody out there know what the correct code might be? I have looked and come up empy...Thanks much!
I agree........when I saw the earlier posted discount on Broadwaybox.com, I thought to myself, "That's not a valid discount code." And, we were all right!!!
So, if anyone knows what it is, please post or PM.
Thanks

Rumor has it that the show sold very well in the Visa pre-sale so the discount code will not be back on BroadwayBox anytime soon.
If you go to Ticketmaster.com and pull up any LB performance, you'll see where you can enter the discount code for a discounted ticket. It's there.......we just need to find out what the code is.
Hopefully, someone will know what it is and post it soon.
I am all about using discount codes, but these threads about LB codes are bothering me. The shows need to earn money, if everyone had the code, they might as well just offer the tickets at that price. If you don't want to spend $111, just buy a cheaper seat, wait for rush or later in the run, etc. Broadway shows are a business trying to make money. If the show doesn't make money, it closes. Buying a regular priced ticket keeps Broadway in business. Just get a ticket now at what it is being offered if you want to see the show that badly.

Well, Liotte, if you are so concerned about shows making money then I would suspect that you would never use a discount code ever. But your first statement is that you are all about using discount codes, your argument contradicts your statement.
There are a very limited number of theatergoers on this site and they will go to a lot of shows, especially if they get a discount. They will be your word of mouth.
The other point is that there was a discount listed on another site for a very long period of time and that code does not work. Some people are just asking if anyone has had any luck getting a code. It is a handful of people.
There are many thousands of posts regarding stuff that I am not interested on here, but I am not that self important to feel that it is my place to tell people to stop posting. If I do not wish to read about it I do not click on that post. It is that simple.
I think it is great that some poeple have all the money in the world and do not have to look for discounts.
Well said........I couldn't agree more!!!
If these "Legally Blonde" postings "bother her," then don't look at it. Common sense will win EVERY TIME!!!!

Seriously, how are they just gonna yank that code from us at the last minute? I was all stoked and ready to purchase. :o(
Yeah, that is odd....????? We'll just have to play the waiting game and see when a valid LB code pops up on this board, Broadwaybox, Playbill or TheatreMania.

I too finally got the discount. I called the ticketmaster number many times. It took talking to 4 different agents but I finally got one that did not insist I needed a code and knew how to offer the $65 tickets. We looked at a few dates. Mostly seats in the front to mid Mezz and back Orch.
I asked for the "Early Bird Rates"
The discount is also currently on Travelzoo.com in their specials section. It says to ask for the Early Bird rate.

This is where I saw the offer again. I called the 1-800-755-4000 ticketmaster number.
Again, it did take calling many times and finally getting someone that did not make me have a code.
I also called back again for a friend I got another person who also offered me the discount. So there are a few people there that will get you the discounted tickets.

I want to see this. It looks like fun.
I've been calling Ticketmaster and every person that I've spoken to, told me that I specifically need the discount code in order to the savings. I'll keep trying.

Hey Neal, the same thing is happening to me! In fact, I called Ticketmaster four times and got the same people each twice; one was a woman who started getting really annoyed, the other was a guy who swore he could get fired if he sold me discounted Blonde tickets. I may try much later when the shift has changed, or else go to the box office this week...but you are not alone!
Thanks for the update. It's comforting to know that we are all in the same boat........getting no where fast! Ha, ha..
I live in Los Angeles, so I can't go to the box office. I'm sure other discount codes will pop up. But, your idea of waiting for a shift change is a good one. I'll call in the morning over and over again. Ha, ha...

If anybody has the code, could they PM it to me please? Thank you.
I once called Ticketmaster for tickets and explained there was a discount for a show I wanted to see, but couldn't find it, and somehow they pulled up $65 seats that were normally $100. It's probably who you get.
By the way, I hate calling Ticketmaster because I prefer to order from an agent directly, and it's so difficult to get through to one.

Hey Neal--After I got up to six unsuccessful phone calls I gave up! Where are these generous, rule-breaking ticket agents when you need them?? Someone on ATC claims a customer service rep actually sold them tickets using another--even better--$60 code just to be nice, but I guess I don't have the magic touch; let me know if you manage to pull it off, because I am starting to feel like they all know me!! And I have a great phone voice, I swear....
I called 5 times this morning.....and, still no luck in getting the discounted rate for LB. I even called the box office of The Palace Theatre, too..........(212) 730-8200.....and, still no luck. The lady at the box office was very, very nice. But, she didn't have the code either.
