"Legally Blonde" national tour, full casting announcement?

Hey all!

If I've missed an official announcement, I apologize for asking here.

Has the "full" cast been announced?

I have a ticket for "opening night" (I LOVE this show...and it is OPENING in MY home town? Oh My God!!!.....couldn't resist...)

I am anxious to find out who else is cast.

Is Ven Daniels going to the tour?

I've heard that Leslie McDonel is also on tour? Another great performer!

Man, they need to announce the entire cast!

Why would the person playing Paulette be an understudy for Elle?
That doesn't make sense...

Kor, someone just pointed out that the poster made an error and probably meant to put "Elle u/s" next to Margot instead.

Natalie Joy Johnson seems a bit of an odd casting move. Mabye cuz I'm just used to what Orfeh does. Do you think she'll play it more like movie Paulette or like Orfeh? I can't really imagine anyone else playing it like she does to tell you the truth.

I dont know anyone in the cast except D.B. Bonds. I wish he stars on Broadway, he is always doing touring Company (like DRS) I saw him last season in MAKE ME a SONG! I am happy for him! I was hoping he'd reprise his role in THE VISIT~if ever move to NYC! I wish I can squeeze this show in my schedule this Fall to see the touring company in Providence, RI.

Millie- No. bec. It will be easier for me to see the Providence, RI show bec. its on 9/21 to 9/28 plus I have never been to the Providence Performing Arts Center versus Legally Blonde in Boston (10/28-11/9)~which I will have a lot of shows to see in NYC like BILLY ELLIOT etc...

and Have I mention that I hate the acoustics at The Opera House?

I think that the producers were iffy about Ven, which is why he is doing this short run as filler between the actual Kyles. Dependingon how the audience responds to him in NYC will tell if he is going out on tour.

I know Ven was a "filler" Kyle, but any word on who will be the new Kyle on bway once the tour starts up?

Did you make this up or is it based on fact?

The cast should be announced soon, they probably start rehearsals soon.

They needed a space filler and that gave them a chance to try out Ven for a while before making their final decision.

Mamie Parris is in it. She was last seen on Broadway in The Drowsy Chaperone. Also played Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie at St. Louis Stages. I know this because she is an alumni from the community theatre I'm involved with.
