So Kyle is a "filler" Melchoir then because they are trying him out on Broadway to do the tour? Huh?
It's common for actors to the Broadway stage to transfer over to the tour, and I realize Kyle is doing the tour, but did the producers just put him on Broadway to see if he would be good for the tour, or did they originally decide to hire another tour Melchoir, but saw that Kyle was successful on Broadway?

Leslie McDonell is in the show. She's playing Brooke Wyndham....not Coleen Sexton. I have positive confirmation on that. If Coleen Sexton were in this show, I have no idea who she would play.
If you hide from yourself, be someone else for someone else's sake, that would be the greatest mistake - bare
In regards to Ven, I think that producers also like the marketing tool it gives them to say that the performer played the role on Broadway. It is one more way to sell the tour to the masses.
Finalists Autumn Hurlbert, Rhiannon Hansen and Lauren Zakrin have all been cast in either the Broadway production or the first national tour of the musical, which launches in Providence, RI, Sept. 23.
Hurlbert, the first runner-up in the competition, will understudy the role of Elle Woods on Broadway and will perform in the ensemble. Zakrin, the youngest contestant on the reality show, will understudy the tour's Elle Woods, Becky Gulsvig, and will also be a member of the ensemble. And, Hansen will play the role of Margot, Elle's best friend, on tour.
The future for both Rhiannon and Lauren could change soon. Lauren was offered the role of Sandy in the national tour for Grease. Which would mean she would no longer be First Understudy/Leilani in the Legally Blonde Tour. Per AEA rules, she can leave Legally Blonde for Grease if they pay her more money...obviously the lead would be more money, so really its just a matter of whether or not she will leave the Legally Blonde family or not. Frankly, it is a HUGE opportunity for 19 year old her to star in the national tour of Grease, even if the show isn't as good. I mean, for LEgally Blonde she'd be First Understudy, which is great, but playing the lead for Grease would be fantastic for her and her resume. This could change Rhiannon's future because she could then become First Understudy.
God help them if Rhiannon is first cover. I also don't think they would move her from Margot to Leilani. She is clearly more suited for Margot's track with the chance of going on as Elle once or twice rather than often. Also Leilani is such a nothing track in itself (When they don't have enough swings, they completely cut her out) that Margot who has a fair amount of stage time would be a better move for her career.
yeah i really don't think it would be a good idea for them to EVER make Rhiannon First Understudy. I simply said that in case fans of hers disliked what I said...they usually do...so I appease. :) But yeah, I guess we'll find out if Lauren takes the Sandy role or not, soon enough.
