MyNameInLights, I don't agree with you. IMO it's like Godspell gone BAD.

I went with an open mind about it and really tried to like it. I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it's being the product of hippie parents and listening to his music over and over. There was much much more to this legend, John Lennon. It was like an overview of his life, not much depth, not much of anything.

The biograpy aspect aside, the sound was horrible there were 5 instances of feedback last night, the coreograpy was sub-amature, the jokes didn't really work, and the lighting was so so.

I enjoyed 4 ( numbers in the entire musical. They were worth seeing. Chad Kimball, Will Chase and Marcy Harriell were great and on top of their game. The rest of the cast, IMO were a bit weak.

Maybe I am missing something.....
